Tickets and discounts

The Met lists three prices:

  • £9 standard entry
  • £8 for CAMRA members, but only from the ticket office at The Met, not online
  • £5 for Met members, applied automatically at the online checkout

The festival is The Met’s biggest annual fundraiser. The venue is a registered charity, and it says every ticket supports its work with local communities, artists and audiences.

The breweries named so far

The Met’s festival page names five breweries and says more will be confirmed “very soon”:

  • Brightside Brewing Company
  • Brewsmith Beer
  • Tun Brewing Company
  • Wakey Wakey Brew Company
  • Vocation Brewery

Two of those are from the borough. The Met’s 2025 press release described Brightside as award-winning beers from Radcliffe and Brewsmith as a family-run microbrewery in Ramsbottom, and placed Wakey Wakey at Rochdale’s Flying Horse Hotel. The venue says the beer will be cask, keg and small-batch, from breweries across Bury and the North West.

What else is on

Not everything is beer. According to The Met, the festival will have:

  • a cider and perry bar, plus gins, wines and cocktails
  • non-alcoholic options
  • pizza from Fratelli’s, served all weekend
  • local DJs playing through both days

There are no plastic glasses. The Met says you pick up a branded festival glass on the day; it has not said whether that is included in the entry price.

Last year, for comparison

The 2025 festival ran on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 November, the same weekend slot, and the venue’s release from October 2025 tied it to The Met’s 50th birthday. It named eight breweries: Beartown, Brewsmith, Brightside, Juggernaut, Northern Monkey, Northern Whisper, Pomona Island and Wakey Wakey, alongside a cider bar and a gin bar.

Getting there and getting home

The Met is on Market Street in the town centre, a short walk from Bury Interchange. The venue’s own advice is to plan your journey and use the taxi bay right outside, or nearby parking if someone in your group is driving.

The same weekend

Saturday 7 November is also bonfire night in the borough, with ticketed displays at Ramsbottom Cricket Club and Greenmount, and a free council display at Heaton Park. Our Bury fireworks page has the times, and the Heaton Park fireworks page covers the free show. Everything else on in the next six weeks is on What’s On in Bury this month.
